BUILD UP Skills as best practice on the World Economic Forum’s new report

A recent report from the World Economic Forum highlights titled “Shaping the Future of Construction: A Breakthrough in Mindset and Technology“, describes and promotes the effort needed by all stakeholders for the construction industry to transform the sector towards energy efficiency. The report, which indicates the construction sector is lagging behind in regards to modernisation, proposes a ‘transformation framework‘ of thirty measures for the sector to change. Against this backdrop, the report presents BUILD UP Skills as an example of best practice in construction. “The EU-wide construction-sector initiative BUILD UP Skills provides a joint platform for national programmes and projects aimed at training and educating the current and future construction workforce on energy efficiency and renewable energy.“
